By joining Restaurant Rendezvous and attending our events you agree to comply with the terms of membership in force at that time of joining and attending. We reserve the right to update these terms at any point, however you will receive a notification of any changes by email which will give you the opportunity to opt-out. If you decide to opt-out of any revised terms and conditions you will no longer be able to attend events with Restaurant Rendezvous and your membership will be revoked without compensation.
By applying for membership you are confirming that you are currently single and over 30 years of age. To initiate registration you can if you wish, call +34627160123 and speak to a member of staff who will answer any of your questions about Restaurant Rendezvous, our membership, events and policies prior to moving forward with your membership. Registration is only completed once you have:
- Spoken to a member of staff
- Completed and returned your registration form by email
- Paid the once only registration fee and chosen your annual membership fee
We will email you a confirmation email for your membership and payment We accept payment by credit or debit card. When you register you agree for your information will be added to our database which is only accessible by designated members of staff at Restaurant Rendezvous. By providing this information in your registration form you also agree for us to contact you by phone and email. Furthermore, you will be automatically signed up to receive our weekly e-newsletter which has a breakdown of our upcoming events, sneak-peeks and exclusive offers. You may, if you so wish, attend ONE event as a non-member at a premium but you must call ahead to confirm your reservation and complete a registration form before we can take payment for the event and put you on the guestlist. If membership is cancelled, whether by us or by you, the registration fee and annual membership fee is non-refundable.
We expect the highest standards of decorum from our members and our members rightly expect the same from each other. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel membership or refuse entry to any event at any time without giving a reason. Restaurant Rendezvous and its employees cannot be held responsible for the behaviour of members nor held liable for any misinformation given to us by members in their registration form. If you arrange to meet other members we advise you to exercise sensible caution. We accept no liability arising from any action or inaction of a member. If you have any comments or concerns about another member or guest at an event please let us know by contacting us by phone or email. You comments will not be passed onto the member in question and we will use our discretion when investigating the matter.
At Restaurant Rendezvous we take data protection and our member’s privacy very seriously. We will never:
- Pass on your details to another member*
- Give your details to a third party
- Share or sell your information to anyone unless you have confirmed to us
*If you wish to be put in touch with another member please contact us and we will send your details over to them. We will never pass on your contact information to another member at their request. We will always inform you when a member wishes to contact you. We make sure that every step is taken to follow the Data Protection Act (1998) and CAP codes.
Equal Numbers Policy
We organise all our events/dinners, drinks parties’ and balls etc to have equal numbers of men and women. However, for a range of reasons occasionally there may be slightly more women than men attending on the night, or vice versa. It is important to remember that numbers are always subject to change up until the day. We work extremely hard to ensure that there are even numbers for each event the day before the event is planned to take place during our Monday to Friday office hours. However, we cannot be held responsible for cancellations and no-shows. We do not attempt to have equal numbers of the sexes at other events. However, before you book, on request we will advise you of the numbers of men and women who have already booked.
Booking an Event
You must email or call us to indicate your interest in an event. All events must be pre-paid. Money changing hands on the night is not our style. A booking is only confirmed once payment has been processed and email confirmation sent. To pay for an event you must call the office and provide your card details. Payments should be processed within 10-15 minutes unless you are informed otherwise and you will receive an email of your payment confirmation. If you do not receive this payment confirmation within 24 hours you should contact us in the office. Payment details or card information is not held on record and automatically destroyed after 60 minutes.
Event Cancellation & Refund Policy
If we cancel or change the date of an event, we will offer you a refund or credit which you may put towards any upcoming event. An email will be sent to you confirming your refund or credit; you should keep this email safe as you may be required to present it when redeeming it. If you wish to cancel your booking you must email the office. Written confirmation of a cancellation must be sent to ; a phone call or voicemail may not be sufficient due to office opening hours. A cancellation email is only necessary if you have booked and paid for an event. If you are no longer interested or available to attend an event that you have indicated your interest for a courtesy email or call is preferable but not required. However, it will ensure that you no longer receive direct communications about the event. Refunds are not given if:
- details of an event are changed, provided that the date and nature of the event are the same
- unequal numbers of men and women attend
- you are dissatisfied with the calibre of attendees or the calibre of the event itself
- you fail to attend without cancelling
We accept no liability for any other costs or losses you may have incurred relating to the event.
Dinners Drinks Parties and Buffets:
Refunds will not be given you have cancelled within 7 days of the event. All other cancellations will be fully refunded.
Weekends Away and Special Events:
Refunds will not be given if you have cancelled within 4 weeks of the day of the event. For cancellations more than 4 weeks in advance a full refund is given.
You are required to obtain a comprehensive insurance policy in force at the time of booking which covers (amongst other things) cancellation of your holiday and enables recovery of all monies paid. We will return any monies paid by you to the extent that they are not required to meet our costs in respect of any holiday. We accept no other liability for cancellation.
We reserve the rights to any photographs or video or other media recorded at our events. Photographs for personal use may be taken with the permission of those in the photo. Video footage may not be taken without our permission. By attending our events you agree that we may use any media which includes images of you for the promotion of Restaurant Rendezvous.
Using Restaurant Rendezvous For Commercial Gain
We encourage suitable people to join Restaurant Rendezvous to enhance their personal social life. Restaurant Rendezvous is regarded as the singles social events organisation that others aspire to be like. We have many wonderful members and from time-to-time we may become aware that members are using us as a source or recruiting members for non-Restaurant Rendezvous events and/or to obtain information about our events and organisation which we regard as our intellectual property. It is not permitted to join Restaurant Rendezvous or attend any event for the purposes of commercial gain of any kind. If you breach this term you agree to pay us a minimum fee of €5,000. If you are approached by anyone at one of our events and it appears that their approach may have some commercial element, please advise us immediately.
